What is GSM?
• GSM stand for GLOBAL SYSTEM FOR MOBILE
COMMUNICATION developed
European Telecommunications Standards Institute (ETSI) to describe protocols for second generation (
2G) digital cellular networks used by mobile phones.

The GSM standard was developed as a replacement for first generation (1G) analog cellular networks, and originally described a digital, circuit-switched network optimized for full duplex voice telephony. This was expanded over time to include data communications, first by circuit-switched transport, then packet data transport via GPRS

• Subsequently, the 3GPP developed third generation (3G) UMTS standards followed by fourth generation (4G)
• The 2G GSM networks operats in the 900 MHz or
1800 MHz bands and 3G networks in Europe operate in the 2100 MHz frequency band.

    Bike Thief Research Paper

In WWYD the bike thief I learned that humanity can be very racist and sexist. "Then again she's a girl" shows that the man was sexist. With the white man only two people tried to stop him in an hour. With the black man instantly everyone tried to stop him because of stereotypes. With the white girl not many asked if she was stealing it and even one man tried to help her and got the bike off while his wife called the cops on him and the girl. My prediction was that they would all try and stop to stop the white guy but I was wrong. My prediction for the black guy was that they would stop him right away and I was right. My prediction for the white girl was that they wouldn't even ask or that they would help and I was right. Overall humanity is…

Global Positioning System (GPS) is a system that accurately determines the precise position of something on Earth. GPS is a constellation of twenty four satellites, each of which orbits Earth once every twelve hours. The U. S. Department of Defense operates and maintains these Global Positioning System satellites. Each satellite contains a high precision atomic clock and several transmitters that constantly send radio signals back to Earth. These signals communicate the satellite’s unique identification code, health, and position in space. Global Positioning Systems and base stations units in the fields receive these satellites and use them to calculate positions. All Global Positioning Systems receivers collect the locations of real world features (represented as points, lines or areas), and some can store descriptive data, or attributes, about these features. Global Positioning Systems (GPS) is a space based satellite navigation system that provides location and time information all over the globe where there is no obstruction to the line of sight to the GPS satellites. The GPS project was developed in 1973 to overcome the limitations of previous navigation systems. It was originally designed for military use by the U.S. Department of Defense. Advances in technology and the demands created from the popularity of portable electronic devices have modernized the GPS systems for personal use. The civilian demand for GPS products began to surge in the year 2000, when the military ended its practice of intentionally blurring the satellites signals for security reasons. As the geo-referencing technologies increased along with the smart phone, mobile mapping systems have become almost commonplace.…

Every four years numerous athletes from around the world come to compete in the coveted Olympic Games. But these 10,500 athletes just from the London Olympic Games, are not the same as the 241 that competed in the very first Olympics in Athens (Olympic Games). The Games themselves also are completely different. The intent of these participants and the countries they descend from are much different. Once a celebration of the Gods, this old-time worship ceremony has been brought into the modern world as something utterly different. In the first year of the modern revival of the games, it was not an expectation for the athletes to compete in honor of the Greek gods. At the time, it was meant to bring a country glory. As time went on however, that honorable purpose became warped and twisted. No longer was it about the country from any standpoint. Athletes sought personal glory while countries were more focused on entertaining their viewers. Now the intent, along with so many traditions had completely been altered. Though the original intent of The Olympic Games was to bring the represented country glory, over time it seems to have become more about entertainment and individual performance over time.…
