GS continued to do well in school, completing college and medical school. In between that time, GS did have a boyfriend, whom she adored. GS appreciated the enhanced recognition she received as this man’s girlfriend, but did not succumb to his assertive sexual advances. Unfortunately, the relationship suffered as GS was not ready for sex with him. The young man broke off the relationship with GS, which then led her to a deeper state of depression and even thoughts of suicide. GS was referred to a psychologist to address her feeling, which was a temporary fix. Despite, GS’s mental state, she was able to demonstrate that she could function in her everyday life. GS was able to begin residency for gynecology. Since the age of 27 GS has been suicidal as it correlates with her depression. GS has been hospitalized on numerous occasions during the course of 4 years for suicide attempts. GS is currently hospitalized for treatment for her repeated suicidal attempts as it has become a part of her life. Unfortunately, previous treatment efforts for GS have been found to be ineffective, as GS continues with her suicide attempts. In addition to this, therapists have appeared to misdiagnose GS
