ORGANISING PTM

Planning is the most essential component responsible for the successful completion of any project.
Following are the steps that we followed for organizing ptm:- * First of all, we fixed a date for ptm and got it finalized by the school principal. * Then, a week before parents were informed about PTM so that, they could make proper time arrangement for attending PTM. * After that, with school principal’s permission a room was selected and a big banner was hung outside the room on the day of ptm so that the parents could know the place of meeting.

PARENT’S SUGGESTIONS * Homework should be given daily and should be checked on time. * Teacher should try to give individual attention to the students. * It must be ensured by the teacher that all the students understand the concept that is being taught in the class. * The school premises must be properly cleaned and proper infrastructure should be made available for the students. * Parents should be informed about the wrong behavior of the students.

CONCLUSION

SUGGESTIONS GIVEN BY TRAINEE TEACHER

A good relationship between parents and teachers is vital for the healthy development of the child. While parents are the first tutors of a child, teachers take up the job further ahead, by educating the child academically and also leading to his/her personality development, at school. Both, parents and teachers need to have shared goals for the improvement of the child as well as to bring out the best in him/her. It is extremely important to be open minded in parent-teacher conference, as this would allow the exchange of ideas and information needed for the progress of the child. * PTM should be organized regularly. * Parents must be told about the importance of PTM. * Parents should be treated well by the teachers. * Parents and students should be given a chance to discuss their problems with the teacher. * Parents should be made aware of the child’s strengths and weaknesses.
