    The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park is located about 50 kilometres north of the city centre of Puerto Princesa, Palawan Philippines. Technically it is approximately 360 miles south of Manila in Midwest coast of the Mainland of Palawan. Sabang is a beach town about 76kilometers northwest of the main Industrial Puerto Princesa. The management of Puerto Princesa ST. Paul Subterranean River and National park is through the City of Puerto Princesa and THE City Tourism and the Park Management ensures that all abide by the Rules. Once you arrived in Sabang, the Underground River is not yet there but get there either by taking a “Bangka” a motorized canoe. Sabang was different, the transit itself to this blessed little town was harder than anyone would imagine. But now, it is almost as soft as a breeze coming down from the mountain tops. To anyone who hasn’t been in Sabang, it can describe like a paradise that will usher you to the gates of heaven. The scenery, it is perfect to touch and the forests and the people are just a laidback. Apart from the River, one must understand that the whole Province of Palawan is thickly forested and that diversity of Biological species is far beyond scientific discoveries. The river area is covered in thick forest , some are terrains and territories that aren’t really inhabited by humans until now. The thick forest is found within the area of the river and national park is mostly subjugated by hardwood species of trees. Even the forest found in the area is diverse from the mountain to the coastal. The diversity of the trees species in the river is represents a very important role in the Bio-diversity . The park management and the City Government ensure that all the abide to the law in regard to the conversation and the sustainability of the area including tourist, foreign and local.
