Gun Arms Persuasive Speech
If you recall the last time that I describe the sad story about the tragedy that a family had in turkey. The family was totally split up. The mom was died their dad arrested and the children were sent to the foster home. God knows how many families experience this kinds of situation or worse than that. All of those bad things happened in a second because they had gun at home. If there was not such a dangerous device, the man at least had the opportunity or more time to think better in order not to be a killer of his wife. Owning gun is one of the big problems in many countries especially in U.S. It increases violence throughout country, such as domestic violence using firearms, terrorist attacks, and so on. Do you want to hear from news and internet happening of the tragedies in different ways every day? Of course, you do not. The government should make it illegal owning gun by citizens nationwide. Today I will remind you the both side of the issue, persuade you to support the illegalization of owning gun by citizens, and inform …show more content…
According to the “Democratic Party on the Gun Control,” the democrats want to strength the background check system, and work for stabilization of weapons ban and closing gun shops in order not to let the gun fall into every hand of law- breaking people (ontheissues.org). That implies, the gun shops are responsible to increase the gun violence by selling their different guns to the irresponsible people. That will let of happening tragedies like Orlando nightclub event, and or Boston Marathon Bombing that had many victims. According to Julia Jones and Eve Bower of CNN, “We compiled all terrorism incidents inside the U.S. and found that between 2004 and 2013, there were 36 people killed in domestic acts of terrorism. This brings the total to 313 including domestic terrorism incidents such as Tiller abortion clinic (Kansas), Holocaust Museum shooting and so

All in all, it is not a good choice for American society at the present stage to ban gun. From the constitutional view, Gun Ban is contrary to the constitution of human rights and protection spirit; from the political view, it will increase the risk of tyranny; from the economic view, it will lead criminal squares to become one of the guns of the monopolist; from the social reality view, it leads to the lack of citizen means of self-defense; finally, from social culture view, it does not conform to the American culture tradition and social psychology. I think the key to the problem of gun crime is not the gun itself, but the deep problems of the society, such as poverty, social life and so on. I think gun control is just a…

First of all, letting people make uncontrolled gun purchases creates a dangerous and chaotic environment for other people. In my opinion, people having gun with them are so many that, it is dangerous to wander in public places such as; streets and parks, because when people especially 18 or 19 year old people have guns, anything can happen anytime. If we consider the rate of young people with guns increase every other day, inevitable events occur. For example, at the premiere of "Batman" in Colorado in summer 2012, a 24 year old gunman opened fire on the people in the theater in the middle of the movie and killed 12 people there. In fact, that is when the government started to consider the gun laws, but the issue is still suspended.…

Gun control in the United States has become a highly controversial topic over the years. There have been plenty of debates on the gun control laws and people have taken to being either pro gun control laws or anti gun control laws. One thing we can’t deny would be that gun control laws would keep us all safer and even save lives. Statistic show that more guns equals to more homicide cases. If more citizens have easy access to guns, they’re more likely to kill than if they didn’t have easy access to the guns. Public places like schools, restaurants, and churches are not acceptable places for people to be carrying guns; it puts the public in danger. It should be illegal.…

Guns do a lot of bad, but do a lot more good for society. Banning guns will not stop the problem, but will just make it worse. Guns are apart of our society as Americans they have been around since colonial years, and are not leaving anytime soon. “The number of guns in America has increased by more than 50 percent since 1993, and in that same period the gun homicide rate in the United States has dropped by half. (Kristof, The Times).” Guns offer protection for individuals. One day you could be in the wrong place at the wrong time, and a shooting breaks out, you will pray there is someone else there with a concealed firearm to help control the situation while waiting for police to arrive. They can’t do that if guns are banned. “We need to understand that we cannot stop crimes and murders. And banning guns would be a step, or two, backwards instead of moving forward in the right direction (The Times News).” The research conducted to produce this paper was drawn from a multitude of sources all with different…

But it’s a fact: more guns won’t make you safer. Guns are designed to kill people, not save them. From 1982 to 2012, an armed civilian stopped not one of the 62 mass shooting that occurred. Guns are dangerous, and now, they are making American society dangerous. According to a study by the Harvard Injury Control Research Center, the number of mass shooting hasn’t ceased to increase over time. More than once day. That scary number represents the amount of time 3 or more people are shot in the states; mass shootings happen more than once day.…

Do people want their children to grow up in an unsafe world? The world that their children will grow up in will not be safe at all. This is because assault weapons can be placed in the hand of mentally unstable people. Their children could be in school one day and a school shooting may happen and their child could possibly die. People could be walking around in a store and somebody with an assault weapon could come in and kill a ton of those people. That can all be changed by putting a ban on assault weapons. Assault weapons should be banned in the United States.…

I believe that guns should not be banned in the US. “Guns don’t kill people, people kill people.” I am sure most of us have heard this saying at some point in our lives. Surely, it is a statement of the obvious, but the logic behind it rings true. It may seem rational to ban guns entirely to prevent people from killing, but it is not the guns themselves that are the problem. That is just a simple solution to a complex problem. The criminals who kill others are willing to break the law and risk going to prison for the rest of their lives to murder, yet they are expected to follow firearm laws? If a nationwide gun ban is enacted, criminals will not suddenly follow the law and reject the thought of buying a firearm on the black market. Banning all guns in the United States would be irrational because it would not lower crime or prevent firearm-related murders.…
