Gun Control Good Or Bad

Gun Control is a contentious topic for American domestic policy, individuals along party lines have become entrenched in a great debate over the merits of the second amendment. Historically, the United States has allowed individuals the right to bear arms given the revolutionary heritage of this great nation, however, in some instances this right has been denied to the detriment of society. Contemporary statistics affirm that individuals are safer when they are armed. Although, gun control advocates argue the less weaponry the safer a society. Biblically, God had no qualms about men owning means of self preservation. Gun Control, while not only unconstitutional, denies well meaning Americans the right to defend themselves from outside threats.
