b. Topic: Recently mass shootings and an increase in gun violence in the cities has panicked the population of the United States, and many have decided to blame this violence on guns.
II) Body:
a. Argument: However, do we need to control guns or people? Isn’t banning or limiting gun possession in violation to the second amendment that allows us to keep and bear arms for self-defense?
b. In 2011 the FBI recorded that the total firearm murders were 8,583; the murders committed with rifles were 320, with hand and feet twice as many more people were murdered, and with hammers and knifes almost 5 times more. Hammers and knifes are not blamed like rifles, because people see the good in them rather than the bad.

III) Conclusion:
a. I refuse to be called Pro-gun, because people that agrees with my ideas is not pro gun, but rather pro self-defense, pro self-reliance and pro-freedom.
b. Today, my sister’s neighbor proudly says that he would sleep with his gun under his pillow. We should all have the right to do the same
