Therefore, I picked three images that had different stories of gun violence. Further, those images supported the goal of taking a stand against gun violence that has been causing many deaths for years.
The most striking visual elements in each image were intelligent in choosing the angle snapshot, free of amendments and understandable without further explanation needed. All these components made those images the most in supporting of the theme.
The three images have some commons visual composition that served the message in tangible way in my point of view. Particularly, in all of them we saw the visual focus was close to the people who got involved in the issue. However, the difference in each one of them was how close the zoom was.
For example, in the first image the visual focus came from the two men back in order to show their guns and the women in front of them. Second image, there was a closer shoot or “zoom in” at the family, in order to appear their afraid faces. Therefore, using the streetlights that were reflected on the family members’ faces without flash’s light was a clever idea.
