by both Broadway and Hollywood movie studios.” She died on October 18, 2000 at the age of 75. Aside from his star role in The Wizard of Oz, he has had numerous other roles. Some of them included him starring as Skid in Burlesque. He also played multiple roles in Two in the Aisle, such as Queen Victoria. In 1955, his name came up for the Three Stooges because of the death of one of their stars. He also supplied the voice of a bloodhound in "Old Whiff," a short cartoon produced by Mike Todd which featured the olfactory Smell-O-Vision process developed for Todd's feature film Scent of Mystery.
Again, Bert Lahr was an amazing american actor. He starred in many of broadway hits and television (as seen above). He was one of the many stars of the major hit The Wizard of Oz. The recognition he caused for himself will never be forgotten as he was apart of one of the most revolutionizing movies in the world. Sadly, he was taken from us as he died on December 4, 1967. I hope many people are inspired by him. I also hope many people will see his work. Since he was young, to when he was old, he has always been making good work.
