This is an article about the overview and background of the Social Security Administration (SSA). It explains the two main programs that are funded by the SSA. One is Social Security Disability and the other is Supplemental Security Income for the Blind Disabled (SSI). This article explains that those who are enrolled in the Social Security Disability part will be eligible for Medicare and those who receive SSI will receive Medicaid.
