Assessment Strategies Paper
In today’s society, many learning institutions are providing advanced learning opportunities to qualified students. Students enrolled in these institutions have varying levels of experience. Assessing each student’s experience, knowledge, skills, and beliefs can be difficult; however it is necessary for the educator to meet the needs of the student. Asian cultures hold educators in high regard leading to the student’s reluctance to participate in individual assessments or leading an activity as in a case review. Mixing both traditional methods including traditional testing and written papers, with oral presentation or student lead case reviews can assist the student in overcoming their reluctance to participate because of their cultural influences.
