Habakkuk is crying out to the Lord for help about all the evil going on. Although there is this evil God says there is work being done. This can be said about today. There is so much evil going on throughout the world and we cannot always see what God is doing and know his plans. Another reason for hope is chapter three verses 17-19. According to Discovering the Bible, “Many have found in the courageous faith of Habakkuk a challenge to go on trusting God in the midst of severe adversities and trials of life (see 3:17-19)”. Even when life is going wrong and not how we want it to God is there. We need to have faith like the prophet Habakkuk to believe and trust that God will work out our lives like he intended too. God will give us the strength to pursue what he planned for us and to make it through the dark times that we think we will not survive.
