In addition to these staff, there will be other many academic staff and postgraduate demonstrators teaching on the practical and field sessions.
Staff are often away from their offices teaching etc so although we are happy for you to just knock on our doors if you want to see us it is usually best to email us to make an appointment in order to guarantee a meeting. We will generally endeavour to respond to emails within two working days – although at busy times we may occasional fail to meet this (however usually we will respond more quickly than two working days).
Syllabus
This module investigates a broad range of habitat types within Britain by
Concentrating on their origins, ecological characteristics and conservation, and also considers their associated plant and animal species, particularly those in need of conservation. It gives particular emphasis to teaching the identification of a range of common British species.
