Love makes everyone happy and sociable. This fiction book is mainly about a lonely ruler called Hades who is the god of the underworld, death, and wealth. Hades had no one to spend time with, while the other gods celebrate joyously on Mount Olympus. One of the most admired is Demeter goddess of agriculture and her daughter Kore who is held away by her mother and can't have her freedom. One day she says to her mother that she wants to be alone and doesn't want her to ruin her life. Angrily Demeter leaves her. After a while, Hades rises from the underworld and kidnaps Kore and take her to the underworld and showers her with gifts and promises. Later on, Kore becomes the queen of the underworld and slowly begins to enjoy her newfound luxury, and changing her name to Persephone. Meanwhile, Demeter searches for her daughter and becomes so worried and searches the whole Olympus for her and asked every god and goddess if they have seen her. She even ask Helios god of the sun who sees and knows everything, but even he didn't know where she is. I love the spin on this myth of how Persephone became the Queen of the Underworld. I loved the way that the plot changed from what original tales I had read when it came to this myth and definitely was interesting in the story setup. I am always a fan of mythology, this book is one that I’ll remember for a while, and I can’t wait to read the others books in the series. I think that people who are interested in Greek mythology should definitely read this novel because they will enjoy it and learn from
