1.0 Introduction
This report is aim to understand and reflect how Haidilao Hotpot Company manages and motivates staffs in three ways: stress management, motivation and communication. Since the development of social science, more and more enterprisers focus on their management style in the business process. How to manage and motivate employees in order to maximize the working proceed is a very popular topic recent years. As Haidilao Hotpot Company as a treasure case study for how important management is, Wonder Ladies team arranged an interview at Shenzhen Haidilao Hotpot Company to see how they manage people use their own different way. Meanwhile we will combine the knowledge from textbook to analysis the advantage and disadvantage of their management style and give some recommendations.

2.0 Development of Haidilao
Timeline from 1994 to 2012
1994.03.25 Haidilao hotpot company was founded in Jianyang Sichuan province
1999.04 First Haidilao hotpot store was officially opened in Xian Shanxi province
2002.11 Successfully started business in Zhengzhou Henan province
2004.03 Announced by Shanxi Province Consumer Association as “Integrity Unit”; 2004. 07 First store in Beijing opened
2005.12 First store in Shanghai
2006.11 Haidilao product line officially put into operation.
2007.02 Investment “Shanxi Province Charity Association”; 2007.04 Complete the work in Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan registered trademark; Start to develop eastern China area.
2008.02 Have their own slogan “Good hotpot can speak”; 2008.03/04/09/10 honored award from “3.15”, “China Cuisine Association”, “Contemporary Manager Magazine” and so on
2009 & 2010 focus on developing Northern China area with delivery services
2011 & 2012 Oversea investment, build international brand, start business in Singapore and United States

3.0 Uniqueness and successful secret
3.1 The characteristics of waiting area make customer willing to wait
Haidilao create a great and comfort-waiting area while customer waiting
