The movies 300, Halloween, and Frozen are all depicted by the difference of gender roles. The difference appear in the comparison of the three films on how the women instead of being subtle they are taking what are known as the "man role" of protecting and not only men can do all the duties themselves. would be best to describe the literary criticism of the movies. They all show how the characters are either girls or either may act as girls such as the term "queer". In "300", the Greek men are shown as killing machines, but yet they are seem to be into each other. The way the men look at each other seems they do it with sexual intentions. Also the way the Persians dress is a reason the film seems to relate to queer. Though they the way they act, their courteous actions help them save their home from the Persians as any other man would do to defend their home. Moreover in "Halloween", the main character is a woman, mother of two. Women are usually the target, the first to either get injured or die in a film. the viewer that women are actually smart and powerful, especially if it involves protecting someone special, such as her children. Also it depicts men as the attackers causing harm and terrorizing the family. Which fuses in people's minds that men are not good people. Then causing a discussion over stereotype beliefs on why women should be under men.
Whereas, the movie "Frozen" is also another film to have females as the main characters.
Elsa and Anna, sisters that are known to have saved the town from men. Which is different from other movies since it is always the men that come to save the day. In the film, the men are the ones that come to take over to become the king. In the beginning , Anna decides to get married to a man she just met, but then realizes he does not have good intentions towards her. Anna then puts her life on the line for her own sister, Elsa. The whole movie shows the viewer that no back should be turned on family and the love someone has for them is greater than any
other.
Though these movies they all showed the difference in gender roles and how they are not usually depicted. The new coming of the world are different and now more women are perceiving men that they could do the exact same as them, maybe in better. Each individual only portrays themselves as heroes and trying to do good.
