    1. Productivity of the crew would be below standard. I believe for the productivity to be below standard because they were sent to this crew because of their lack of work. Just because they have been assigned to another crew, does not mean that they will begin to work well right away. When compared to the Equity Theory, I believe there to be positive inequity for the three men assigned to the new group. For being assigned to the group due to lack of work, it is unfair to have a higher pay grade than those who have been in the company for a longer period of time and who are doing their job correctly. This may cause issues with subprofessionals being motivated to work to their full potentials because they may see it as being unfair and at the same time the professionals may think they do not need to work as hard.…

On a net basis, the trade discount of 2% is offset by the borrowing rate of 11%. However, since Clarkson’s profits are driven by volumes, their line of credit allows them to continue their growth in sales. Based on our calculations, for Clarkson to achieve $5.5 million in sales in 1996, they would only be able to purchase 95% of their cost of goods sold from their $750k credit line.…

As an innovator, he is a person who can be said to possess intellectual property. Under legal guidelines, intellectual property is protected by the patents and copyrights. The innovator has every right associated with that property. More and more innovators are seeking services of consultants on the risks and opportunities of licensing out their technologies. Contrary to belief, almost all Americans use or have used some type of drug(s). When the topic of drug use and/or abuse brought up, naturally, alcohol, tobacco, and illicit drugs are brought into the discussion while disregarding medically accepted drugs. Prescription drugs are usually not included although they make up a high percentage of misuse, abuse, and death. Properly prescribed medication causes approximately 106,000 deaths and over 2 million serious side effects. Illicit drugs cause between 10,000 and 20,000 deaths per year, only 10% to 20% of that caused by legally distributed prescription drugs. This number does not include illegally distributed prescription drugs. We often, as a society, blame addicts for their compulsion when corrupt doctors and friends and family. Of course, with maximum testing on prescription drugs before distribution to the public and a proper overview of past medical history of the patient can substantially decrease the number of side effects and…
