Good Morning Fellow students,
Hamlet is a masterful playwright by William Shakespeare who took a remarkable revenge story making it resonate with the most fundamental themes and issues of the renaissance. With his pronounced language that has helped shape the English language to what it is today as well as the dramatic methods within the play he has not only created a story that continues to resonate with audiences through time but has depicted the true characteristics of the inner workings of the human condition.
Now, if we all think of the situation that Hamlet finds himself in it is similar to, hmm… let’s say food, more specifically someone eating McDonalds; but hamlets situation is more difficult and much more gruesome. Take Bethany, she may want to consume The Big Mac meal, this is like Hamlet wanting to kill, however he knows the consequences that will occur, such as the constant guilt and being sentenced to hell in the afterlife i.e. putting on that extra pound. Hamlet is aware of his actions and the future ahead, which is the reason for his received delaying of action against Claudius. The adjournment comes about as Hamlet seeks the truth of his father’s death as justification to murder Claudius, the new
