-Han dynasty reunited China after their civil war.
-Divided into two parts: Western Han (206 BC to 9 AD) and Eastern Han (25 to 220 AD)
-First long-lasting dynasty of China.
-Founded by Liu Bang who rebelled against the Qin dynasty.
-Under the Qin rule, Bang was able to create a well-developed government and enforced Confucianism.
-Wu Ti reigned under the Mandate of Heaven, and that was one of the han dynasty’s first accomplishments.
-The Great Wall of China was constructed under the Han dynasty.
-Believed comets, eclipses, and other astronomical events were used to predict disasters.
-In 3 AD, the Han dynasty fell along with the other dynasties.
