I do agree that the hand washing is a very basic but very important a research-based (or evidence-based) practice in our workplace. According to Mathur (2011), health care-associated infections increase mortality and cost of treatment which lead increasing attention from patients, insurers, governments and regulatory bodies. The simple and effective infection control is hand -washing.
