Hands On Experience In The Legislative Branch
Looking for a position that can give me hands-on experience into the inner workings of the legislative process and help me further develop a new understanding of how the different systems of government interact with one another.

I don’t only want to intern at a congressional office, but intern at Beto O’Rourke’s congressional office. I would enjoy working

Constituency careers pursue the goal of reelection, while Washington careers pursue the goals of influence in the House and the making of good public policy. When a House member is at the stage of a constituency career, they will most likely leave their families at home, and only be thinking about the goal of reelection.
