Summary
Hanna Rosin explains new data on how women are beginning to emerge over men in many categories. She focus’ on the societal shift on women being more involved than previously thought. She talks about women in the workplace. She shows a graph from 1973-2007 showing the amount of men vs. the amount of women in difference skilled jobs (low, medium, and high) after since the women began to flood the workplace (1973). Rosin is most known for her book, “The End of Men: and the Rise of Women” her publishing shows a vast knowledge of the subject, meaning that she is well qualified to give this presentation. Beyond this, Rosin’s use of interactive graphs and relatable examples helps to create a dynamic presentation that keeps an audience engaged the whole time. As an author, she is aware of each rhetorical situation and is able to adapt her TED Talk presentation to fit our student audience. Rosin makes her points in humorous yet factual ways to keep this audience interested in what she has to say. She even uses her kids to prove points in a manner that is down to earth and understandable. Overall Rosin’s expansive knowledge, use of multimedia, and audience adaptation, will create a presentation that is both interesting and
