CHAPTER 1: THE PROBLEM AND ITS SETTING
Introduction
RCS Dental Supply start as a small business by Mrs. Rhina Concepcion Sanguyo she start as a Dental agent since she has a lot of experience and guts to establish a small dental supply with 2 to 3 dental agent to supply in small area here in Luzon and time goes by the small dental supply become RCS Dental Trading and they supply in different dental clinic here in Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao she has dental agent in different place here in the Philippines who offer their product.
Background of the Study
The first system that they use in this company is a manual system they write and list the in and out of their item and in the end of the month they’re counting their product one by one they have more than hundred class of item and a lot of stock that makes them hard to find if they have lost of item monthly.
They have agent who offer their product in dental clinic in different places here in the Philippines. Each agent have their product to sell they get their stock in their office. Every time their doing their monthly inventory all their agent need to go to their office to surrender their remaining items and count their overall stocks.
This system can avoid the wasting of time to count their item one by one because this system as database that hold all data like the in and out of the item, who taking out the item and the actual time and date. The database of this system should be update by the authorized staff every time they have transaction to their agent.
Statement of the Problem
Error occurred in counting of items.
Difficulties in monitoring the in’s and out’s of products.
Agents need to go to their office to surrender all the items in their possession for the monthly inventory.
Time spent in counting of their item during inventory.
