Harry Potter Archetypal Hero

Have you ever wanted to fly on a broomstick or stop the most evil wizard ever? Well that's exactly what Harry Potter did. Harry is a only a baby when his parents are killed and he sent to live with his mean aunt and uncle. Harry grows up getting bullied by his step brother until he gets invited to Hogwarts. Hogwarts is a wizarding school and when Harry arrives there everything changes. He goes to each class to learn magic, meets new friends, and goes on epic journey to defeat the most evil wizard ever. Throughout the book Harry Potter And The Sorcerer's Stone Harry Potter is an archetypal hero. This can be proven in many ways as he follows most of the hero charastics.
In the book he follows the unusual birth circumstance, the lives elsewhere, and he has something that initiated his quest. His unusual birth circumstance is his parents were killed by Voldemort but Voldemort couldn't touch him. Harry didn't know about how his parents died in the beginning, he was told they died in a car crash. Harry's epic quest is to stop the sorcerer’s stone from being stolen, so Voldemort can't rise again. On his way through the journey he has help from Ron, Hermione, professor Snape, and Albus Dumbledore. Ron and Hermione are his friends that give him advice throughout. Albus Dumbledore is the headmaster at Hogwarts and gives Harry advice along with saving his life after he destroys the stone. His special weapons include a invisibility cloak given to him by Dumbledore, but originally was his dads, and a magical wand. ‘“It's an invisibility cloak,’ said
