Hate Depicted In Shakespeare's Romeo And Juliet

The death that was caused because of pure hatred. Where the consequences of hate were suffered. This is the theme of a play written by William Shakespeare. A play so heart wrenching and mind shattering. This play is about two families strife, and star crossed lovers. One of the families, the Capulets had a 14 year old daughter Juliet of whom they wanted to marry a man named paris. Yet young Juliet finds herself taken with the son of the enemy Romeo Montague. The two wanted nothing more than each other, but that sadly was not an option. The too families kept them apart because of the hatred for one another and the suffered the consequences of their hatred with the loss of their own children. Three main reasons the consequences of hte is the theme is because of the violence, no acceptance, and finally the feeling of being trapped.
There were many fights, arguments and deaths throughout the story. For example the death of Tybalt Capulet killed by Romeo with knowing they are enemies they fault with no real circumstance other than Tybalt knowing Romeo's feelings, for his dear cousin Juliet. Another example is the scene where the two capulet guards were explaining what they would do to a montague if they tried to get in. in scene one act one a grad says “ When I have fought with the men, I will be civil with the maids: I will cut off their heads.” in this they are talking about fighting the montagues. The last example is the biggest consequence of all. Romeo and juliet said they both rather be dead than live without each other, so because of the hate between the two families was so strong the killed themselves. This shows how it supports the theme through
