Having a Third Eye
Having a Third Eye
By: Lilia C. Montabon
All of us don’t have the abilities to see creatures like ghost. But me, I don’t know why I see those. When I tell a story about what I saw, my parents and friends don’t believe me. So, I didn’t tell anyone about this.
It was a rainy day in June, and it was so dark. My family and I were sitting in a big sofa. Nobody can’t notice that I was shaking for it was so cold. And then my brother started a joke that comes to a misunderstanding that comes to telling a horror story. My brother started. Then after a few minutes, I did saw a girl wearing a black gown and hiding at the back of the door. My body was shaking, and I just ignored the girl because I thought it was only my imagination.
Time has passed, and she was gone. Then, my brother said, “Who saw the girl in the back of the door?” I didn’t say anything. And then my brother said that she wears a black gown. I was shocked by what he said. I became scared and frightened. And then after that, I slept with a fear in my eyes.
The day after, I don’t see her, so I thought it was just an imagination, but there still a few questions stocked on my mind. And the next day, it was 2 o’clock in the morning, and I can’t sleep. I was having a recall for what happened, and then, I go out and turn on the lights in the altar and back to my bed and started to recall again. And then something happened I saw her again and there was a noise in the outside of our house. I cover my ears in able not to hear anything and close my eyes. And then, I didn’t notice I fell asleep.
Only my brother can understand me because it is only us who can see ghost. And even my friends, didn’t believe me for it was so impossible because they had gone to my house so many times and they didn’t see anything. And then I just said to myself, you can’t see her because you don’t have a third eye, because only me and my brother can see her. And until now, I can see ghost but not just like before. But I know, this

It was morning, but something was not right. I felt strange like my body was not my own. I was in the same room, yet something was different. I got up looked in the mirror and was astonished at what I saw. I felt that what I was looking at could not be a mirror because the images I saw were not of me. I saw a poorly shaven man of about twenty-five staring back at me. He was thin and looked like death had barely escaped him. He was scary, although what scared me the most is thinking about what had happened to…

It was still in its nondestroyed state. I was with my friends from night one plus my friend's mother that I mentioned earlier as well, and my own parents. I walked into the building and I saw that room with a locked door that has the light on at all times. I was told to never go inside of that room. They told me that it was not for me to go into. I was going on vacation to this house for some reason so I had to unpack my bag in a bedroom. The house was very old so I ignored any movement that I heard I put my things on the bed and I was very cold. My mom called out for me to go to the main room. I went out there and noticed that people were crucified, hanged, torn in half, and burned. The door with a mysterious light was open and the girl was standing in front of it. I was afraid not because of the bodies but because the door was open. The girl motioned for me to come to her and I was unable to resist walking to her. As I got closer she looked more disfigured and evil. Her eyes were the biggest part that I remember. They were black with light pupils. She had claws like in my earlier dreams and she had a scream that paralyzed me. She ran at me and right as she was about to hit me I saw every event that I have that I have done to help or hinder people in real life. This felt like it went on forever and then I woke up screaming and in a cold sweat. My mother was trying to wake me up for ten minutes because of my screams. I knew that something was wrong at this…

“Mom, mom, mom, mom!” I was practically screaming. I already knew what she was going to say. I just sat back on the couch and watched as a tear streamed down my face into my hand. I eventually fell asleep on the couch. I woke up at three in the morning and I could see the sun peaking out with the stars and moon retreating back until another night. I don’t know what came across me but I thought to myself why people are so cruel. I looked outside to see if anyone was out there. I just saw an empty street, just like one of those old ghost towns in old western movies.…

When it comes to paranormal activities or supernatural experiences, I am caught in the middle on where I believe it or not. I don’t necessarily believe in ghost but do believe in spirits. In 2004, my great grandmother died. For a whole year after her death, if I went over to her house, I would leave before it got dark because for some reason I was afraid to spend the night in her house after her death. I finally got the courage to spend the night over her house and I must admit, it was the most peaceful sleep I had ever gotten my entire life. While at her house, I could misplace something and spend a whole hour looking for it. Once I decide to give up looking for it I would say “Madear, give me back my ____” and instantly whatever I would be looking for would appear. I…

I woke up in the middle of the night to a whistling sound. I sat up and looked around, it was 2:00 in the morning. Suddenly, a book fell off of a nearby shelf all by itself. I quickly got up and went to find Viviane. It appears she is having the same ghostly experiences that I had. We wanted to get out of this creepy house, so we ran to the verandah. When we got there we saw a strand of beads hanging on the railing. I snatched them up and they began to glow. All of the sudden, we were both picked up by two ghosts, that were both women. They hovered in the air for a minute then took off, carrying us through the skies. We came to what looked like another plantation, and they dropped us in a grass clearing, and disappeared. We were so tired; we lay down and fell asleep before we could explore our new…
