Knowing full well that concussions are considered one of the worst injuries an athlete can endure. Who would the NLF allow such a violent game to still be played? And take it from me that I know what it's like to live with someone who deals with CTE every day of their life. My father would preach the benefits of contact sports and from; an early age he was placed in a variety of sports ranging from basketball, baseball, and football. He was a very promising athlete he was given a full ride to Guildford College in North Carolina as a football and baseball player. During his time at Guildford, he became to most decorated athlete in the school's history. But during the course of his last year during a game he suffered a head on collision. And from that day on the struggles my father would have to face began. From the memory loss, depression, and anxiety these symptoms have taken its toll on my father. Yet he doesn't regret the decisions he made cause those chooses he made shaped him into the person he is. But still, he truly believes that there need to be major changes because he wouldn't wish the pain he goes through to anyone. There should be a serious consideration as to the safety of the players on and off the field. Brain injuries in football are a problem in part because people's love football is so vast they seem to not care. If a less prized activity was damaging its participants, it would be much easier to change it or write it off
