During further education I was selected alongside other pupil’s to participate as a team member for the 2010 Eureka Rocket Challenge, based at The University of Birmingham. This involved schools from around the region, where participants took part in the two day event to develop an existing product to market in another country. This event also raised funds for my Sixth form as my team managed to succeed as the winning team against 12 other teams throughout Birmingham.

I have worked regularly for Birmingham City Council as a Poll Clerk where I undertook a variety of duties: I was required to assist and support the presiding officer set up polling booths; check and mark each person as they voted; stamp and issue ballot papers, ensuring that
