The main aim of the procedure is to give clear guidance and direction. Which means being aware of any problems and addressing all concerns that the child may have it also requires trustees which can enable you to learn more about the child’s needs. Building self-esteem, self-confidence and assertiveness
Building a child’s self-esteem starts from the day the walk into your care as you have to immediately try to make the children feel safe and to make them feel happy to be there. This will allow the child to put trust in you so that he can approach you with strong feeling or worries for you to give advice so these are the steps a child will take to build a positive relationship with you. Building anchild’s self-esteem means giving complements and rewards when done will and giving them a firm but fair discipline when done wrong.

When emergencies happen a young child must know exactly what to do they happen. So you must make them aware of all the emergency exits in the building and also to show them the assembly points. It’s also important to show them how to leave the building.
