Being a teenager I not an easy thing. Everyday our bodies go through physical, emotional, and hormonal changes. This is why we must try to maintain a healthy life style. Some factors of keeping our minds and bodies healthy are self responsibility, stress management, nutritional awareness, and how teens can stay away from alcohol. Self responsibility is something that should be taught at an early age. As small children we learn that if we take toys out and make a mess, in the end we will be told to put everything back were it belonged. This also applies for teenagers. When we enter high school our lives are turned upside down. We are told to do homework and attend your classes on time and everyday. The one thing that’s different is that we can’t always rely on our parents anymore, and there will be a time were our parents wont be there at all to encourage or lead us through the right path. If your brain already knows your tasks for the day and you have them well organized knowing that you have the power to achieve it all, your mind and body will be more open to accomplish these responsibilities. If you were to walk into a doctor’s office and it was filthy and disorganized you would not want to be treated there. Why? Because you already know that this doctor has not taken the responsibility of being a leader and making sure that his office is an acceptable environment to treat patients. “The teen years are a time when independence looms large, but the battle to achieve much-wanted freedom rages on. This is also around the time that parents are striving to teach teens responsibility so they can grow into mature, trustworthy adults who are accountable for their actions.”(A) Maintaining this responsibility helps us get by each day and strive for the future. Everyone has different thoughts on this subject but in the end being responsible with yourself and those around you can only do good. This is
