Healthy individuals contribute to the growth and development of the society. In order to achieve health promotion and prevention, cultural values, educational background and the enthusiasm and willingness of an individual is very important in planning teaching style and strategies. Last week discussion, imparted us about learning objective and strategies. Self-check were done with Visual, Aural, Read/write and Kinesthetic (VARK), in order to know what learning strategies applicable to nurse as an individual. With this type of patient, as a nurse, cultural background of that patient needs to be appreciated and understood. In order to be able to put the individual on a track to the health promotion that involves of daily dialysis, healthy renal food of their choices, not just any food and health prevention toward complication of renal diseases has to be implemented, such as the food to be avoided to prevent high toxic uremia in the brain. Health promotion towards improving their renal functioning, especially in acute phase of renal failure, needs to be put into consideration.
