Heartaches 2, authored by H.M Irwing is the second book in the Heartaches: Bad Boy Vibes trilogy. This book is a romantic memoir and traces the lives of Anna Walters-Simmons and Rafe Luis Brown. These two individuals are former victims of rape and have now forged a romantic relationship. They are making the use of their new found friendship to work their way towards everlasting happiness and calmness but the path towards their destination is not all that smooth as their past is causing them a great horror in their lives.

In this college, people end arguments by means of a battle. This story kicks off with such a terrifying dream that is creating horror to Rafe Brown. The author is smart enough to hook his readers by use of twists and turns as the story unfolds. This makes the story unpredictable thus readers are obliged to pay attention till the end of the story. Personally, the presence of twists and turns kept me at the edge of my chair and I never placed the book down till I turned over the last page.
Heartaches 2 is very inspiring and encouraging. It is nice to see that these two wounded hearts come together and see their unity as the water to flash down the burdens of their lives down the toilet. I came to realize that for sure, birds of the same feather will always flock together. This story is told in the second person’s view point and I greatly liked the author’s descriptive style of narration. I really felt for the two especially after Preston and Erick Dayton sexually abused them.
It was very sad to see Anna’s former boyfriend treating her like a harlot. I would recommend this piece of work to the youth who have attained the age of eighteen and above. Readers under the age of eighteen may find this book irrelevant since it has several incidences of romance and rape which may not physiologically suit you. You are thus advised not to read this
