The point of helping someone in need is that the person who you helped could now be living the life always telling others about you, praising you, but for example if you haven't helped out a person in need he or she will be living a life of terror. They won't have money, food, and a family. That's why I think it's important to keep care of others!
But to be honest, would it really kill you to donate a low amount of money a month. A fifty riyals a month to any charity helps, it can buy someone some new clothes!
