Hero Definition Essay
A Hero What is a hero? I feel that a hero is an ordinary person who can do heroic acts that no one else can do. Being a hero is not all about super powers and cool costumes. That is not what it is about, a hero must be strong, intelligent and brave. They must also commit to doing brave deeds for others too. Once they achieve this, they will be heroes. In addition, they are truly extraordinary people. A hero needs to be strong mentally and physically . Mental strength is not trying to carry out a task once and giving up. A true hero has good mental strength and can keep trying to solve the problem no matter how hard the problem at hand is. Heroes do not just try the same way only using brut strength. They do not just stop because they …show more content…

Being smart is not just knowing a lot of information and getting good grades. Being smart is having the intellect to solve problems quickly and easily. Being smart is having good common sense in knowing what to do. Heroes just do not assume that the choices they made are right they should know that they made the right decision. However, this is not all a hero is they must be brave too.

Finally, a hero must be brave. They should be able to stand up to any challennge filled with determineation and courage. For example Hercules is brave he stands up to any challenge. He shows true bravery. “Since he was wearing a lion skin, the bull took him for a lion and charged at him. Meeting the charge head-on, Hercules caught the bull by the horns and wrestled him to the ground.” (Hercules chapter 8: the fifth labor.) For Hercules to do this it took a lot of bravery any normal person would not even stand still if a bull was charging at them.

This is what it means to be a hero. You must be brave, strong and intelligent. You should have the courage to face any obstacle with out any doubt in your mind. You should be strong and endure the most complicated situations and tiring challenges. Finally, you should be able to solve most problems with ease. This is what makes a hero an extraordinary
