High School And Attend College Majoring In Special Education
In the last year I have focused on my goals and achievement in which I want to achieve in the future. My main goals are to graduate from high school and attend college majoring in special education. During college I hope to get involved with my classes and get into the classroom to teach and sub before I get my degree. I also would like to get a job and campus or around the community. Upon receiving my degree and graduating from college, I plan on getting a teaching job at an elementary school or a daycare where I can teach young children. I would also like to help coach students or children with a specialty in sports, because anybody can play a sport. I hope to stay on a path that is focused on my goals. On my path I wish to stay open-minded on new ways to reach my goals by doing extra work to manage the challenges associated from going to school, managing a job, and keeping up with my studies. My plan will have its obstacles, but with determination I will conquer anything that I do not need on my path and bring in positive ways. …show more content…

I also like to get things done and out of the way before they are due. Another one of my strengths is that I have different ways I can study for tests, quizzes, and homework as well as a good memory to help with my studying process. Strength of mine is always making sure I am friends with everyone and make no enemies. I have developed these strengths by observing older students and teachers so I know what to expect. My strengths are important to me and that’s how I learn in school and even in my community. I have learned that your strengths might not come successfully the first time but you have to work hard and they will eventually

I have many strengths as well as areas to grow in, some of them overlap as both a strength and an area of growth. One of my strengths is trying hard to get any job put in front of me done no matter what it may be. Another is the inability to say no to anything someone asks me to do such as pick up a shift at work or can you help them at home. This one is as much an area of growth as it is a strength. Some areas of growth that I am focusing on improving include being more patient and not speaking too much.…

I feel I have many different strengths. One of which I think stands out the most is that I’m willing to take criticism. When I get scowled by someone, I don’t take it as something negative right away. Instead I will sit down and reflect on the situation before coming to a conclusion. Many people will think the person yelling at them is terrible but I think it’s the opposite. This is because the person actually cares enough about you to point out your weaknesses so that you know and be able to fix them. A weakness of mine…

High school was something I did not take seriously. I did not learn until my senior year that you have to work hard to get somewhere, and not do the bare minimum of things to just “get by.” Since I did not try to keep high grades in school, I was unable to get the hope grant. This kept me at home my freshman year and at Georgia Military College. On the positive side to not going off to a university my freshman year, I have become motivated to be a hard worker. College is a new start for me to finally set goals for myself and work hard to achieve them. My short term goals consist of maintaining an 85 or above average in all of my classes, raise my cumulative GPA, and have all of my assignments turned in on time. Each day I set aside time to focus on my school work. My short term goals are going to help me reach both my mid-term and long term goals. The mid-term goals I have for myself are to finish all core class at Georgia Military College, graduate from GMC in two years, and transfer Point University. My long term goals are to graduate with a bachelor’s degree, and start my career as an early childhood educator. The goal terms are like a chain reaction. By studying in my short term goal it will carry me to my mid-term goal of graduating from Georgia Military College transfer to a university. Once I finish at the university I will come to my long term goal, which is my career.…
