High School And Attend College Majoring In Special Education

In the last year I have focused on my goals and achievement in which I want to achieve in the future. My main goals are to graduate from high school and attend college majoring in special education. During college I hope to get involved with my classes and get into the classroom to teach and sub before I get my degree. I also would like to get a job and campus or around the community. Upon receiving my degree and graduating from college, I plan on getting a teaching job at an elementary school or a daycare where I can teach young children. I would also like to help coach students or children with a specialty in sports, because anybody can play a sport. I hope to stay on a path that is focused on my goals. On my path I wish to stay open-minded on new ways to reach my goals by doing extra work to manage the challenges associated from going to school, managing a job, and keeping up with my studies. My plan will have its obstacles, but with determination I will conquer anything that I do not need on my path and bring in positive ways.
My strengths speak a lot about me in that I keep myself organized and clean.
I also like to get things done and out of the way before they are due. Another one of my strengths is that I have different ways I can study for tests, quizzes, and homework as well as a good memory to help with my studying process. Strength of mine is always making sure I am friends with everyone and make no enemies. I have developed these strengths by observing older students and teachers so I know what to expect. My strengths are important to me and that’s how I learn in school and even in my community. I have learned that your strengths might not come successfully the first time but you have to work hard and they will eventually
work. My weaknesses are not being able to comprehend something and will spend time learning it the right way, but it does now always workout. I also have a weakness with being able to pronounce certain words at times the right way. Another weakness that I have is getting too emotional with certain things in school or in the community. All of my weaknesses have developed since I was young but I am still working on changing my weaknesses into strengths in my college years and develop new ways to work them out. I continue to learn from my weaknesses and I see improvement day by day. When I look up to my role models, I see the seniors leading in the classroom and also on the athletic side of the field. I am being a leader in both, the classroom and athletic competition. Most importantly, its leading in the classroom, helping a student with a question or on the computer, I try to help them. I work well if we work in groups and will do my job and lead them with what I have observed and think is right. Working with the elementary kids and being a role model in helping them learn and letting the kids learn from an older person. I also have a little sister through the Big Brothers Big Sisters program and spend time with her and help her become a role model for the children that will look up to her. I am a good role model and leader on the court in sports. I help the underclassmen in shooting or just giving them tips to become an even greater basketball player. Being a positive influence if I do something wrong and correct it by doing it right. Sharing my passion and to have fun while playing the sport. I am involved in giving back to the community by participating in meals on wheels by delivering meals to the elderly. I have also done volunteer work for my church, school, and groups around town. I also like to give back by doing mission trips not only around our community but around our country and hopefully someday around the world. A challenge I have faced is being able to participate in sports and earn my playing time, even though I have earned my playing time I do not always get my time, but I focused that it’s not all about playing time. I do not have as many challenges as I did in the classroom before and have overcame those challenges to be productive and study harder. An obstacle is speaking up for m self, I am very shy at first, but when I get better acquainted I become more social able. My biggest obstacle is being able to attend college and transfer what I know now into things I need for college. In my high school years I have worked hard to bring my grades up and keep them up. I do not like getting a bad grade because I have worked hard to get good grades. I work hard to get on the court in sports and I have achieved a lot of memories but also gained a lot of knowledge on aspects of life, I would not have known about if I did not participate in sports. I cannot express how much I have achieved from working in and around the community. It is hard to face people who have nothing when you have things you do not need and you achieve something out of it when you do not think you would. I have gone on mission trips but the last ones meant more because over time I have learned to achieve something in the time you were there to a year after the mission. I have worked extremely hard these last four years to achieve the achievement every kid dreams of, to graduate from high school, and go on to college. I have to work even harder to achieve my goals and accomplishments but it will all be rewarding in the future.
