No scholarship money will be issued to students until the Greater Lowell Community Foundation and/or Lowell High School certifies that the award will be made. Certain scholarships listed in this bulletin include an anticipated award amount, based on last year’s awards. Scholarships for which the anticipated amount is unknown are designated as TBD (To Be Determined).
These scholarships require the Lowell High School Honors Night Scholarship Application, scholarship ID transcript, resume and required essay. Unless noted by an asterisk (*), the LHS Scholarship Selection Committee will choose the recipient(s) of each award.
Some scholarships may require a separate application form. These scholarships are available in the College & Career Center, Room 116. Applicants should follow specific individual directions on each application.
Please note: All LHS Scholarships are due in the College & Career Center on February 28, or March 1, 2013 by 2:30 p.m. unless noted otherwise in the criteria. Applicants are responsible for meeting all deadlines.

SECTION I
1826 Lowell High Scholarship Fund $500
Scholarship awarded to a minimum of two and no more than four graduating seniors who have taken a minimum of two Business Education courses at LHS (except for Office Intern, Work Experience and Marketing Lab) and received a grade of 85 or above in each course. Preference will be given to students who participated in DECA, Business Professionals of America, or worked in the School Store. Students must be attending a two- or four- year institution or technical school.
