High School Career Progression
In my previous Academic History I went to Cape May County Technical High School. Throughout my high school career I was a very contentious student. I study very hard and put a lot of effort into my school work. In high school I really enjoyed getting involved. My Sophomore year I managed the swim team which I continued to do until I graduated. My Junior year is where I found my love for cross country. I ran both my junior and senior year and it really helped me mentally and taught me that anything is possible if I just put my mind to it. Also My Junior and Senior year I was apart of student council and the prom committee. We put in a lot of time and effort into making sure school events went smoothly.     First and foremost, I have given up much of my personal time to help my community. The past three summers I have volunteered for over eighty hours at St. Rita’s Medical Center here in Lima.     There are many ways one may contribute to their society. Some people may use their intelligence in order to advance society; some may lead the country to be a better future; some may make the world to be a better place just by being in it; and some may volunteer their time to help others. It’s difficult to find one person who possesses and contributes all of these qualities, but I am sure I do. Because the standards for entrance into the Junior Honors Society are leadership, scholarship, character, and service, I believe that I am more qualified for entrance into an organization as prestigious as the Junior Honors Society.
