High School Diploma Essay

My goal once I graduate is to become a licensed vocational nurse. I will need to complete my high school diploma first. When I am finished I can start taking CNA classes for a year or two. After working and saving some money, I will continue my education to become a LVN. I hope i can get alot of hands on training during the CNA program. I choose to finish my high school diploma because of my daughter. Back when I was younger I was not really interested in continuing my education. Now that I have my daughter I realized that its very difficlt to find a good job without a diploma. I would like to make a career path for myself, so I can do more for my daughter. I hope to finish the high school diploma fast. I would like to get my CNA training
first so that I can work in a nursing home. I really wish to nurse elderly people, to show them that people care about them. I am hoping to get an overnight job. Then, I can leave my daughter at home with my husband, and not have to worry about paying for daycare. I really want to do the CNA program soon, I have looked into many schools and the classes are very quick. Once my daughter starts school, I will begin studying for the LVN. I know that the LVN will be a lot of work, but it's worth it. I am hoping I can take the LVN classes at Kaplan College of Nursing. I have three friends that have graduated from Kaplan, they loved the program and its flexibility with classes. Once I graduate from the LVN program, I hope to work in a hospital or home health agency. I have a strong passion to care for people. I hope I can complete my education within the next three years. I know it will take some time to meet my goal, but it is well worth the time. If I stay on the right path I can give my daughter a lot more. I will be a great nurse because I have the heart for nursing now all I need is the education.
