High School Job Analysis
Throughout my high school career, I was able to hold multiple officer positions, compete in varsity and junior varsity level sports, serve my school and my community, and also sustain a job. While at Annville Cleona High School, I participated in many clubs and activities both in and out of school. I busied myself outside of school through my job and by completing many hours of community service. For my job, I work at a local movie theater as a crew member and have recently been awarded as employee of the month for August. This position has helped me step out of the realm of Annville by making friends with employees from out of town and also improve my communication and develop customer service skills. As for my service hours, I have volunteered at numerous locations including but not limited to the Ronald McDonald House, Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, A Tail to Tell Puppy Mill Rescue, and YMCA’s Camp Shand. During my time at these places, I was able to interact and brighten the days of sickly children, act as a …show more content…

My hard work was recognized through multiple awards and achievements such as varsity letters, invitations to selective events, and bonuses. Everything that I have accomplished in my life has made me who I am up to this point and has even led me in the direction of applying to Pennsylvania State University. I look forward to continuing my path at this college and keep up all the hard work and accomplishments I have accumulated thus far in my

The components of citizenship, community service, academics, work and home life, and extracurricular actives help me shine as a well-rounded individual. As an involved and caring citizen in the Union Township community, I do my best to make my mark. Displaying a good role as a citizen through community service has been a value I possessed ever since I could remember. At a young age, I started to serve my community with my parents at both school and church events and it has stuck with me since. Through community service such as being an assistant teacher in St. Veronica’s Religious Education Program, Glen Este High School’s member of National Honors Society, and Key Club, I not only helped out Union Township but I have also made new relationships and feel good about myself. Community service always makes me feel better because I know I’m helping others and making my mark through the friends I have made through both of these service programs.…

I decided to work with a non-profit because I knew I would get all the experience I can get while getting to work head on with the local community; this was what made it all worth it. The one place that I found I can get the most experience while still connecting with the local community was an organization call Lettuce Live Well.…

Volunteering and work experience are also necessary, therefore, I would consider joining a volunteer or work opportunity while attending university. The next step I am going to take toward my preferred future is to obtain a job, I will do this by applying to jobs that require communicating with people, working with children or opportunity for networking. Another step that I can take is to volunteer at my old high school, I have already worked at an elementary school, and therefore it would be nice to see if I would have a similar or dissimilar experience at the high…

Joining the future business leaders of America, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, becoming a youth leader at Christ Church, as well as many other volunteering activities helped me enrich my community, and make an impact in the world around me. Along with these organizations, I have played several sports in high school, in my junior and senior years I settled on my two favorite sports, track and field, and volleyball. Within these sports I have made friendships with my teammates I will never forget, and learned important lessons in humbleness when winning, and cohere with my friends when losing. By being a member of any sports teams at my high school, I regularly attended many of my school’s events, giving me the opportunity to develop relationships, and gain a tremendous sense of pride in my school. I learned very soon after starting my freshmen year at Hixson High School that this was a school that wants to see achievers and believers walk across the stage at graduation and enter into the world around. Through the teachers encouraging me to push myself to do the very best I could possibly due, the multiple organizations and clubs available, and this inner spark that drives me to achieve greatness, I quickly became involved around the school. I am currently the National Honor Society Secretary, Senior Council Representative, Nation Beta Club Member, Hixson Mat Cat Treasurer, and one of the founding members of Hixson Girl Talk. Without these opportunities offered, I would not have built relationships with fellow classmen, teachers, faculty and staff, and most importantly, members of the Hixson community through volunteer work, team bonding, and a shared desire to continue to improve the area.…
