Most importantly, Hijab signifies their submission to Allah (God in Islam),
and our belief in Him. According to the University of Saskatchewan, Islamic Society, God obligates men and women to lower their gaze and to dress modestly. He (God) asks them not to show off their adornment, draw their veils over their bodies. It symbolizes modesty and purity. In Aaminah Hernandez, blogger, she states that, “To that same end, my beauty is then saved for my husband’s full enjoyment and he knows he does not share me with anyone. I am not out getting a lot of attention from others that may make him feel insecure or that is disrespectful to me.”
The concept of hijab is not only in Islam, it has's been embraced by other religions too, such as Judaism, Hinduism andand Christianity. Our Islamic culture, like many other cultures, the idea of women's respectability and virtue is related, among other things, to the propriety of their dress. The adopted garments are, loose cloth maxi that doesn’t shows any body parts and a hijab.
