Thus, I cannot claim that Hildegard is a completely reliable source or a non-reliable source in regards to God. I believe that there are things in their lifetime that we are not meant to understand with our human minds. Only through ascension, or the escape of our human form, will we ever be able to truly understand the mysteries of life. Through ascension, our minds are no longer bound to our realm of thinking; we will be able to think beyond the spectrum of our third dimensional world. Even my personal belief of Logos is limited, and might be completely wrong; we may never be able to attain Logos. Texts that discuss Logos are utterly meaningless because of the mind’s inability to comprehend what the truth is. Our society has become so corrupt that we can no longer differentiate what is truth and what is embellished. Ultimately, we don’t know what “truth” is unless it is bound to this world in no other shape or form. Our human minds are limited to apprehending things that we can physically observe to be true, but we lack the ability to grasp the truth of things that are beyond our spectrum of observation. She was gifted with the ability to have visions that gave her a better understand of the Christian faith in God. She was able to show her visions through her artwork, music, poetry, and writings. Some consider her visions false, but there is no way in which one can prove she was neither right nor wrong. If society decides to accept the stories of a scholar, why do we deny the words of a gifted woman who is able to display her understand in more than one way? God works in mysterious, and nonsensical ways. Our minds are limited to universe, and it is nearly impossible for us to be able to understand the works of our all-knowing creator. In the end, we can only understand what is directly in front of us until we finally ascent into the universe and are then able to see things at a entirely different perspective.
