A very affectionate good morning to esteemed judges, cherished teachers and my beloved friends. Today I , am going to converse in the favour of motion – “CCE SYSTEM – A BANE OR A BOON?” Everything has a good face and a bad face and same is the case with CCE system but, according to my analysis, CCE system is filled with advantages. Actually, CCE system was launched last year by education minister Mr. Kapil Sibbal to trim down the burden or stress of studies from students and make him perfect in all fields. This system brings up the other merits of a student rather than academics. CCE is the road for improving student’s performance by identifying his/her learning difficulties at regular time intervals right from the beginning of the academic session and employing suitable remedial measures for enhancing their learning performance. It also encourages students to showcase their creative skills. CCE system intends to round development a student in scholastic as well as co-scholastic areas. You might be a topper and achieve 99 marks by cramming but they are useless if you haven’t learnt anything. CCE lessens stress of competition among students. This obsession for competition results in suicides. Students who got 97.6% have also committed suicide just because someone else got 97.7% I believe that CCE system reduces the pressure of competition but not the competition because even today the student has to compete with himself to beat his own record. Thus CCE system ease the stress but still ignites the fire of competition in the hearts of students. Cent percent marks are not enough to make a child a thriving and an ideal citizen instead of that he needs to be upto the mark in all fields and CCE helps a student regarding this matter. Things always don’t go according to our desires. Everything has some benefits and some pitfalls and so does the CCE but when the situation is not in our hands then we have to make the best out of it. And if

    1. After years of polite submission to her male counterparts, Janie gains her voice in Chapters 7 and 8. Prior to her defiance of Joe, Janie observes the way Daisy, Mrs. Bogle, and Mrs. Robbins are treated by the men. These three Eatonville women provide caricatures—quick, stereotyped sketches—of what it means to be a black woman in this small Florida town. In what ways do these caricatures highlight a larger disrespect toward women? How do they show Janie’s increasing difficulty with the way men judge women?…

There are a number of advantages in the co-educational system of education. Firstly, if boys and girls are taught together in the same school under the same roof, there will be no need to open separate schools for girls. A poor country like India cannot afford the luxury of opening separate schools for boys and girls. Co-education is thus economical.…

    Cce Pattern

    • 307 Words
    • 2 Pages

I want to know how CCE pattern is absorbed by schools, teachers, parents and students. On the surface, CCE looks lucrative with a scope to assess a child’s overall performance. But looking into the nitty-gritty, a child is made to work a lot, complete a lot of assignments, projects, concentrate on the extra-curricular activities, prepare for n number of tests – all at the same time. Would it make life easier for all of us if the assignments are planned in such a way that a child is required to submit for only one subject per day? And the way portions paper reaches the parents, it would be better if the assignment schedule also reaches well in advance. Too many tests with very less time for revision are adversely affecting the students. Teachers are left with no time to interact with the students but to deliver their syllabus in a mechanical manner. This is only a speck, there are more problems. Children who stay far away from the school are more taxed due to travel too. Ultimately, children don’t have time for anything, no play, no relaxation. Are we setting the trend right? There are n numbers of holiday homework. So the concept of holidays is getting eroded. Is this a good sign? Will we be able to create a young and healthy India? I request the teachers to discuss what is required from students to the level that how they should prepare for the tests and how they can score better. Rote learning does not help in CBSE. If a child has to apply, it should be given a scope of working and preparing. When all the time is gone for writing, how can that be achieved. I request a panel discussion on this and want many parents to participate and express their…

With the promulgation of the new entrance examination reform, the rationality of the college entrance examination (CEE) becomes an arguable focus for the public again (Shen, 2014). The CEE has helped to select millions of “talents” for national development, which has made obvious contribution for about fifty years. However, some scholars doubt whether these “talents” are the real talents with innovative spirit and critical thinking, since these qualities are widely described as the sign of the students who can adapt to college study soon and make greater contribution in the future (Su & Zhu, 2007). On the contrary, the independent enrollment can sort out the elite the society really need (Ma, 2011). Through analyzing the rationality of CEE, this essay holds the view that the CEE should continue according to China's current national conditions. Its irreplaceability was mainly represented in two aspects: the equity and high efficiency for both individual and society.…
