Hindi grade 9 – winter break homework – December, 2014

There will be very little time to work on the IGCSE exams once you return in February, so please see what you need to do in order to review for your exams:

(a) Solve IGCSE papers – 2008, 2009 and 2010
(b) Use the link below to learn all your numbers from 1 - 100

(c) You should highlight a list of new vocabulary from the past IGCSE papers – 2007, 2008, 2009 and 2010 AND learn their meaning.
(d) Make up an IGCSE paper – you would already have a sample, you can hand write it OR type it. It should have six exercises, all different articles/ genres and differently designed, as in short answers, true / false/ include various types of writing.
You can use articles from the internet but be wise enough to use correct citation.
(e) Under these genres, write the name of at least five recent famous Indian personalities.

(f) Read the following articles and do as instructed:
(1) “१०२ साल की जवां लड़की” – एक साक्षात्कार के रूप में प्रस्तुत कीजिए। आपको पाँच प्रश्न पूछने होंगे ( हर एक प्रश्न के दो भाग होंगे) और साथ में उत्तर भी लिखने होंगे।
(2) “बचपन की आज़ादी” ( 28 – 32) – पढ़िए और समझइए।
(3) “माँ के हुनर से रोशन है मधुबनी” – इस कला के बारे में पढ़ने के बाद किन्हीं पाँच मुख्य बातों पर चर्चा कीजिए। आपकी हर चर्चा ३० शब्दों में होनी चाहिए।
(4) “दबे पांव आता हत्यारा मधुमेह” – एक भाषण तैयार कीजिए यह बताते हुए कि आप इस बात से सहमत हैं।
