HINOPAK

The layout in “HINOPAK” is very optimum i.e. it provides maximum satisfaction to all parties concerned i.e. employees, management and shareholders.
The complete manufacturing process of HINOPAK plant causes a good layout which minimize production delays and increasing output or shortening manufacturing time.

WHOLE CYCLE OF LAYOUT IN HINOPAK

A truly international project, Hino Pak Motors Ltd. Is a joint venture between Hinopak Motors Ltd. And Toyota Tsusho Cooperation of Japan and Al - Futtain Group of the UAE.
The vehicle assembly plant has an efficient and integrated design layout which comprises assembly lines, paint booths, overuse and component manufacturing facilities.
First of all the Marketing Forecast Department of HINOPAK which plans the whole process issue notices of demand to production department and finance department.
The production department sends it to material operation department which has its other subdivided departments. Important of them are :

1) IMPORT
2) MATERIAL CONTROL

The import department then contract the HINOPAK JAPAN for CKD i.e. complete knock down from Japan. It has four months lead time. The HINOPAK JAPAN then sends the required CKD to material operation which further divided the material to their respective shops such as:

1. Sub assembly shop.
2. Press shop.
3. Seat cushion shop.
4. Parts section.
5. Window section.
6. Seat fabricating.

Then the material is quality assured and after in process quality assurance, it sent to Assembly Operation Plant which sends it for quality assurance and then to opening plan which acts according to production schedules. Then it is further divided into ENGINE - AXLE - CHASIS.

The cabs made come to paint booths and then fabricated engines are mounted to one chassis which are made at axle - chassis shops. Then the cab is fitted with the engines and then series of steps took place at different shops including,
I. BODY FRAMING.
