Historical Report on Race

Dear Brandi, I am writing you to talk to you about the history of my racial group and also to let you know of some of the steps and processes that our government has implemented to help out my racial group. I want to draw your attention to some of the struggles and achievements that the Native Americans have overcome through the years. The questions that I will be covering are; what have been the experiences of the Native Americans throughout the U.S. history? What have been the political, social, and cultural issues and concerns of the Native Americans throughout American history? What legislation meant to constrain race within prejudicial boundaries was enacted? What legislation meant to alleviate prejudicial boundaries has been enacted? How did the various groups promote this legislation?
I have always been proud of my ancestry. After all, I can learn about my roots from the history books, literally. But can be hard to be part of the Native American race. We have suffered a lot, but we have also won many victories throughout our history in the United States. There was a time when we did not have to worry about what another culture or race thought of us however that all changed when the Europeans came to America in the 15th century. My ancestors lived as hunters and farmers and they lived off the land without causing an imbalance in the environment. Everyone in the original Native American communities participated in taking care of the entire community. That is the way that it should be I think.
When the Europeans migrated to our lands there were vast differences between us. We also suffered great losses from the diseases that they brought with them. The differences between us caused great unrest and tension. Those tensions were the catalyst that started many wars where my ancestors were almost wiped out completely. Once the
