The LTD, Continental, and the Marquis are downsized and moved to the “Fox”
Platform (shared with the Ford Mustang)
These cars were replaced by the LTD

The Lincoln Town Car was first to be completely redesigned for the second generation of Panthers
The following year, the Town Car was first to receive the Modular 4.6 Liter v8, which produces 200 to 220 horsepower.
