At the end of the China’s civil war, the US refused to accept the communist People’s Republic Of China as China’s true government. What were the advantages of such a policy? What were the disadvantages? Do you agree with this decision? Why or why not? * This policy would have Nationalist China kept part of the UN, which was a positive. The negative of this however was not accepting Red China as a true government, which caused uproar. This decision was best in order for the US to not be associated with any form of Communism.
