The rescuers were from different Religions and backgrounds, but that didn't stop them from rescuing the Jews. They might not have had the same beliefs, but they all had the belief that the Jews didn't deserve the pain they were put through. They were operating a circus that toured around Europe, and they were in Darmstadt when a young jewish acrobat came to the show. She was offered a spot in the show even though it was at the time of the war. Adolf took a big risk and hid her and her family throughout the war. The Germans never found the family, and they were soon set free. This was a different way to save this small family of Jews from the Holocaust. Another unique way that the Jews were saved, was by Gregory Baran. He saved six jews from having to go into a ghetto. He took them to his home and hid them there instead. Him and his wife fed them and took care of them even though they could’ve been caught any minute, so he and his father built a shed where the Jews could have a better place to hide. The village was liberated and the Jews were saved. These were just two examples of the many ways that the Jews were saved. It ranged from saving a mass of people to just a few people.
