One of the most famous of these accounts is told in Night by Elie Wiesel, which is a biography of his tragic times in Auschwitz, Buna, Gleiwitz, and Buchenwald. There is speculation that Elie actually was not in the concentration camps due to the fact that some of his information is not exactly correct (Yeager). Though it would be extremely hard for him to have an exact account and have the exact statistics when retelling a story considering the atrocities he endured, and that stories are often exaggerated to create a more interesting plot for the readers.
