home and had no family or money to fall back on. This leads me to my global perspectives. There are two global perspectives that I will be weighing back and forth explaining each ones impact they have on the homeless in cities. My first global perspective will be that the governmental economies offer the maximum benefit for the homeless.
This will show how well the government is taking care of the homelessness situation and what plans they have come up with to stop it. The second global perspective that I will be discussing is the economic development pursued through private investments. This perspective will show many different perspectives within itself because there are tons of organizations made specifically to help the homeless people and the amount of money invested versus the amount of money that the government invests to stop the homelessness. I agree that there are tons of investments but just for a hypothesis, I feel as if the private investments were be as beneficial as the government. I will show which perspective will outweigh the other meaning be more effective. The homelessness has gone on for centuries and finally needs to come to an end if possible. But we can look together to see just how or if they are being helped to get off the streets. These two global perspectives are being weighed so that the question of “Does economic development eliminate homelessness?” can be justified and we can see the governmental impact on different
cities. I will also show how effective private investments are versus the government. In the United States alone, there are 2,483,539 children and adults experiencing homelessness each day. (NCH, 2009) Take Michigan for instance there are 86,189 people who are homeless because of the lack of government interference. This could be stopped with a little effort and money. So that the homeless can get off the streets.
